“Le Macchie Alte” is an estate of 420 hectares (a little over 1,000 acres) in which we farm olives, cereals and forage and we rear Maremman Cattle, Cinta Senese pigs, boars, rabbits, chicken and bees.

Immersed in the quietness of the hills, in the shadow of a great oak you’ll find a lovely swimming pool where you can relax and take a refreshing dip.

If you want to see the countryside, ‘Le Macchie Alte’ is a wildlife reserve which you can explore on foot, on horseback or on mountain bike, meeting hares, pheasants, squirrels, buzzards and sometime even the wild boar along the way!

When you come to ‘Le Macchie Alte’ you’ll find that getting away from it all is not so very far away.
